"1. Blooming Love"

At night, 1 AM,

In a quiet colony filled with rows of raw houses, darkness blanketed everything as all the lights had been turned off for the night. The silence was thick and unbroken, disturbed only by the occasional chirping of crickets echoing through the stillness. The air was heavy with calm, as though the entire neighborhood had surrendered itself to sleep. Even the watchmen, assigned to keep vigil, had dozed off in their chairs, heads drooping and hands twitching now and then as they lazily swatted away the mosquitoes that buzzed persistently around them. The scene was steeped in eerie tranquility, as if time itself had slowed to a whisper.

Suddenly, the stillness of the night was disturbed by a faint creak, barely audible but out of place in the thick silence. A wooden window of one of the raw, dimly painted houses slowly swung open with a low groan. A moment later, a bag was tossed out, landing softly on the ground below with a dull thud. From inside, a girl cautiously peered out, her eyes scanning the darkness for any sign of movement. She remained frozen for two full minutes, heart pounding in her chest, listening intently to ensure no one had heard the noise.

When the silence remained unbroken and no lights flickered on in the neighboring houses, she exhaled slowly. With the help of another girl inside, she carefully climbed through the narrow window frame, lowering herself down with trembling hands. Her feet touched the ground and she immediately crouched, body tense, eyes darting nervously around as if expecting to be caught at any moment. Her breath was shallow, and fear was etched across her face.

Back inside the room, the second girl leaned forward and looked out cautiously. Her eyes swept across the quiet colony, watching for any shadow that moved, any sign that someone might be watching. Then she lowered her gaze to the ground below, locking eyes with the girl outside for a brief, silent moment, filled with unspoken worry.

Girl: "Siyanshi Didi, koi nahi hai araam se nikal jaiye jaldi se."
(Siyanshi Didi, there’s no one around. Please leave quickly and carefully.)

The girl who had leapt out of the window was none other than Siyanshi Dixit. As soon as she landed, she swiftly got back on her feet, brushed off the dust, and reached out to hold her sister’s hand firmly, her eyes filled with determination and concern.

Siyanshi: 'Tu dhyaan rakhna apna Anu, main dusra number leke call karungi tujhe jaldi hi"
(Take care of yourself, Anu. I’ll get a new number and call you soon.)

Anu: "Nahi didi, aap pehle apni life sambhaliye, papa ko pata chala toh phir se vahi sab hoga"
(No Didi, you focus on saving your life first. If Papa finds out, the same thing will happen again.)

Siyanshi’s face was flushed, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. She tightened her grip on her sister’s hand, as if drawing strength from the connection, her emotions barely held in check.

Siyanshi: "Nahi, ab main apne sath kuch galat nahi hone dungi, meri zindagi hai apni tarah se jiungi"
(No, I won’t let anything wrong happen to me again. It’s my life and I’ll live it on my own terms.)

Anu: "That's the spirit didi, ab jao jaldi se aur khayal rakhna"
(That’s the spirit, Didi. Now go quickly and take care.)

Siyanshi gave her sister a soft, reassuring smile. Slinging the bag over her shoulder, she quietly waved goodbye. Her sister returned the gesture with a faint wave of her own before gently closing the door, the creak of the hinges fading into the silence of the night.

With careful, silent steps, Siyanshi slipped into the shadows, moving cautiously to avoid the sleeping watchmen and any prying eyes. She took full advantage of the stillness that only a deep night could offer. Crickets sang softly in the background as she weaved through the narrow lanes of the colony, her heart thudding in her chest.

Finally, she reached the main gate. She paused, glancing back at the place she had called home for so long. The gate loomed behind her, quiet and unmoving, holding within it the life she was now leaving behind. Her eyes welled up with tears, and for a moment, she stood there, caught between her past and the unknown future.

Then, with a determined breath, she wiped her eyes and turned away. Step by step, she walked ahead into the darkness, her silhouette slowly swallowed by the night.

Siyanshi’s heart pounded relentlessly against her ribcage, each beat louder than the last, as though it was trying to escape. The night unsettled her, its silence, its darkness, and the unknown it held. Every step she took felt like walking deeper into a shadowed maze. The decision she had made was dangerous, bold, and far from easy, but it was necessary. For her freedom. For her future.

She had left no trace. Her old SIM card, the only way anyone could contact or track her, was left behind, hidden beneath the folds of her blanket. Now, as she walked under the dim glow of distant streetlamps, she pulled out her phone and slid in a new SIM, her fingers trembling slightly. The act felt final, irreversible.

After what felt like hours but was only minutes, she reached the nearest bus stop. It was mostly deserted, except for three boys leaning casually against the railing, their presence instantly setting off warning bells in her mind. As soon as she approached, their eyes turned to her. Not in curiosity, but in that unmistakable, uncomfortable way that made her skin crawl.

They whispered among themselves, their gazes lingering far too long. Siyanshi instinctively took a step back and clutched her bag tighter. She kept her head low, pretending to scroll on her phone, trying to appear unfazed while every nerve in her body screamed for her to run. The night, once a cloak of protection, now felt suffocating. The bus couldn’t arrive soon enough.

Siyanshi shifted uneasily in her place, clearly uncomfortable under the unwanted attention. A group of boys, who looked more like local thugs than regular passersby, eyed her shamelessly and let out a low, mocking whistle. Her heart pounded in her chest as she clenched her eyes shut, trying to block them out. Instinctively, she tightened her grip on her bag, holding it close to her chest as if it could shield her from their leering stares.

Boy 1: "Oyee hoye akeli ladki vo bhi itni raat ko"
(Oye hoye, a girl alone at this hour?)

Boy 2: "Kya iraada hai madam, bhaag waah gayi kya??"
(What’s the plan, madam? Are you running away or something?)

Boy 3: "Areh lagta hai darr rahi hai aap humse, dariye mat madam hum Shareef ladke hai"
(Seems like she’s scared of us. Don’t be afraid, madam, we’re decent guys.)

Siyanshi shut her eyes tightly, her breath coming in shallow, controlled bursts. Her fingers clenched her bag so hard that her knuckles turned ghostly white, the faint glow of the bus stand’s light reflecting off her trembling skin. The three boys exchanged sinister smirks, their eyes gleaming with cruel intent as they slowly closed in on her.

One of them reached out, his hand aiming for her waist. But before he could make contact, Siyanshi’s reflexes kicked in. She grabbed his wrist with iron determination and twisted sharply. A sharp crack echoed in the stillness as he yelped and stumbled, forced to turn away from her.

Without hesitation, Siyanshi lifted her leg and delivered a swift, powerful kick between his legs. He crumpled to the ground with a groan, collapsing in pain.

The other two boys froze, startled by her unexpected resistance, the air thick with tension as Siyanshi stood her ground, fierce and unyielding.

Guy 3: "Ahhhh"

Siyanshi: "Darr se aakh band nhi ki thi, gussa control karne ki koshish kar rahi thi lekin nahi, tum jaise nali ke keedon ko hazam nahi hua na, ab dekho"
(I wasn’t closing my eyes out of fear, I was trying to control my anger. But no, filth like you can’t tolerate it, right? Now see what happens.)

Siyanshi stepped forward, her gaze fixed on the two other men standing nearby. They looked just as stunned as the rest, clearly taken aback by how boldly she had struck their gang member. A tense silence hung in the air as the shock registered on their faces, unsure of how to react to her unexpected courage.

Guy 1: "Ladki hokar itni himmat teri"
(How dare you hit him like that, being a girl!)

Guy 2: "Aaj batate hai tujhe iska anjaam, bachegi nahi tu"
(We’ll teach you a lesson today. You won’t survive this.)

Both of the men grabbed one of her hands each, trying to restrain her, but Siyanshi refused to be caught. With a sudden surge of strength, she yanked her hands free and shoved them both hard. Without giving them a moment to recover, she launched a fierce barrage of kicks, landing solid blows on their bodies. She swung her bag with all her might, striking them repeatedly, the heavy thuds echoing in the still night.

The third man, recovering quickly, lunged forward and grabbed a handful of her hair, pulling her backward. Pain flashed across her face for a moment, but she didn’t falter. Swiftly, she grasped his wrist, twisted it to throw him off balance, dragged him forward, and slapped him across the cheek with a sharp, stinging smack.

Before the men could retaliate, the sudden wail of a police jeep siren pierced through the night air. The goons’ eyes widened in panic, their bravado vanishing instantly. Siyanshi’s lips curled into a confident, victorious smirk, knowing help was just moments away.

Siyanshi: "Akeli ladki hu, koi abhla naari nahi jo muh uthaye chance marne chale aaye, dobara dikhe toh zinda nahi bachoge"
(I may be a girl, but I’m not a helpless one that you can just harass as you please. If I see you again, you won’t live to tell the tale.)

All three were sprawled on the road when the police arrived and immediately restrained them. The officers’ eyes fixed sharply on Siyanshi, their gazes filled with suspicion. Then, a lady officer approached Siyanshi with a calm, reassuring smile, as if trying to ease the tension in the air.

Officer: "It feels good to see that women nowadays are aware of safety apps and can handle such people until the police arrive."

Siyanshi: "Thank you so much, Ma’am, for arriving so quickly."

Officer: "You’re alone here at this time? Any issue?"

Siyanshi’s smile faded instantly, and she swallowed hard, but quickly gathered her composure.

Siyanshi: "Actually I am waiting for my bus, just an urgent last minute meeting stuff ma'am."

As the bus came into view, the lady police officer glanced at Siyanshi and offered her a warm, encouraging smile.

Officer: "Alright then. We’ll take care of these men. All the best for your journey and stay safe."

Siyanshi: "Yes, Ma’am. Thank you."

The officer smiled warmly at Siyanshi, even as the goons continued to glare daggers at her. Unfazed, Siyanshi returned their hostile looks with a confident smirk. Without a word, she stepped onto her bus, found her seat, and settled down. Gazing out the window, she watched the world blur past, lost in her own thoughts.

Siyanshi thoughts: "Ram ji, please mere is safar me mera sath dena, pehli baar itna bada kadam uthaya hai, thoda dard hai par jaanti hu galat nahi hu main"
(Dear Lord, please be with me on this journey. I’ve taken a big step for the first time. I’m scared, but I know I’m not wrong.)

She lifted her gaze toward the glowing moon hanging softly in the night sky and smiled gently. Closing her eyes, she let the cool breeze brush against her face, feeling its soothing touch under the silver moonlight. In that quiet moment, with a heart full of hope and courage, her new journey quietly began.

Few days later,

At Singhania Mansion, a woman draped elegantly in a saree paced anxiously back and forth, her movements restless and tense, it was Vaidehi. On the couch sat Viyansh, heads bowed low in quiet despair, accompanied by their two young daughters, Viyana and Viyakshi. Viyana looked adorable in a bright sundress that fluttered gently with every small movement, while Viyakshi wore a charming jumpsuit that added to her innocent charm. The heavy silence in the room seemed to weigh on them all, filling the space with unspoken worries.

Vaidehi: "Aane dijiye Doctor sahab ko, aaj toh khair nahi hai aap chaaron ki, dimaag kharab karke rakha hai mera"
(Let the doctor come first. Today, you four are done for! You’ve all messed up my head!)

Viyansh: "Biwi yaar, choti si toh baat hai, ism..."
(Wife, it was such a small thing, I mean…)

Vaidehi shot a sharp glare at Viyansh, and without a word, he fell silent, lowering his head in submission. Frustrated, Vaidehi resumed her restless pacing across the room, her steps echoing the tension in the air. Their daughters, Viyana and Viyakshi, sat quietly on either side of their father, sensing the heavy mood but unsure of how to ease the strained atmosphere.

Viyana: "Kya popsy, mumma zara sa ghoor kya deti hai aap darr jate hai"
(Really, Pops. The moment Mumma glares at you, you get scared.)

Viyakshi: "Papa aapko ek kaam bola hai aapse vo bhi nahi ho raha hai??"
(Papa, you couldn’t even do one thing we asked?)

Viyansh: "Angel, Princess aap dono kuch bhi mang liya karo yaar par ye meri Jaan ke against jaana.. ye toh difficult hai hi na"
(Angel, Princess, you both can ask for anything, but going against my life partner… that’s really hard, isn’t it?)

The three of them huddled together, whispering quietly among themselves, their voices barely audible. Vaidehi noticed immediately. She placed her hand firmly on her waist and fixed a sharp gaze on them. Still engrossed in their secretive chatter, they didn’t notice at first, so Vaidehi snapped her fingers sharply right in front of their faces. Startled, they looked up, meeting her piercing glare, and swallowed nervously under the weight of her disapproval.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, ho gaya aap teeno ka??"
(Ansh, are you three done talking?)

Viyansh: "Jaana, main kya keh raha tha ki Dakshu abhi bechara thaka hua aayega toh use ma.."
(Darling, I was just saying, poor Dakshu will be tired when he arrives, so let’s…)

Vaidehi: "Chup chaap yahi baithiye teeno, mujhe aur gussa mat dilaiye"
(All three of you sit right here quietly. Don’t make me more angry.)

Viyana: "Mumma, meri toh bas do din ki baat hai"
(Mumma, it’s just a matter of two days for me.)

Viyakshi: "Haa aur meri teen din ki"
(Yes, and mine is only three days.)

Viyansh: "Aur main toh bas ek din ke liye Biwi"
(And for me, it’s only one day, darling.)

Vaidehi shot them another glare, and they immediately went silent. Just then, the sound of a car horn echoed from outside, drawing their attention in that direction.

Outside the grand Singhania residence, a sleek black car smoothly glided through the iron gates and came to a gentle halt in the spacious driveway. The morning air was calm, carrying a faint scent of blooming jasmine from the well-tended garden nearby. The car door opened, and a young man stepped out with an effortless air of confidence. His sharp black sunglasses contrasted strikingly with his crisp white shirt, neatly tucked into tailored grey trousers. White sneakers completed his casual yet polished look, giving him an edge of youthful nonchalance.

He grabbed a bag and a white doctor’s coat from the passenger seat, slinging the coat casually over one arm. As he walked towards the entrance, he offered a charming, devilish smile to the guards stationed by the gate, his light beard adding a rugged appeal to his handsome features. With a smooth motion, he handed over the car keys to the guards, who nodded in acknowledgment and started to park the vehicle.

A soft melody escaped his lips as he hummed a tune, completely at ease, his fingers flicking through notifications on his phone. But as he stepped inside the house, the carefree atmosphere shifted instantly. His eyes lifted and locked onto the piercing, unforgiving glare of his mother, sharp and unwavering like a hawk watching its prey. The playful smile faded from his face in an instant.

His gaze then shifted to his father and sisters seated nearby, their expressions a mix of curiosity, judgment, and expectation. The weight of their silent scrutiny settled heavily on his shoulders, reminding him that within these walls, charm and confidence were never enough to escape the glaring eyes of his mother.

Vaidehi: "Aaiye, Dr. Vaidaksh 'the most busy person ' Singhania."
(Look who's here, Dr. Vaidaksh, ‘the most busy person’ Singhania.)

Vaidaksh swallowed hard, fully aware that his father and sisters had stirred up trouble once again, and now it was his responsibility to set things right. Slowly, he removed his shades, took a deep breath, and began walking forward with the calm, obedient demeanor of a dutiful son. A faint, reassuring smile played on his lips, masking the weight of the task ahead.

Vaidaksh: "Jaaaaaannnnn"

Vaidaksh spoke excitedly, only to receive a sharp glare from his father. Smirking, he stuck his tongue out at him before wrapping his arms around his mother.

Vaidaksh: "Good morning Mumma"

Vaidehi: "Good morning toh tab hoti na beta jab aap ghar pe rehte aur raat ko so jate??"
(It would’ve been a good morning if you stayed home and slept at night!)

Vaidaksh stepped back and gently kissed his mother’s forehead.

Vaidaksh: "Last minute important surgery aa gayi thi mumma, Varna main karta hu kya kabhi late??"
(There was a last-minute emergency surgery, Mumma. Otherwise, when do I ever stay out late?)

Vaidehi: "Roz karta hai, zyada baatein na bana"
(You do it every day. Don’t make excuses.)

Vaidaksh rubbed the back of his neck, wearing a sheepish smile.

Vaidehi: "Chal bata kya khayega, main bana deti hu phir kha ke so jaana"
(Tell me what you want to eat. I’ll cook, then you can eat and  rest.)

Viyana: "Arehh abhi hume toh daant rahi thi aap mumma, bhai ko bhi daantiye"
(Now you're being sweet to him? You were scolding us just now, Mumma. Scold him too!)

Viyakshi: "Exactly ye just because bhai thak ke aaye hai toh Bach jayenge, not fair aaye toh late hi hai na"
(Exactly! Just because he’s tired he gets a pass? Not fair, he still came home late.)

Viyansh: "Vahi toh aur aate hi meri biwi ke sath flirt kar raha hai ye namuna"
(Exactly, and the moment he enters, he’s flirting with my wife! Shameless guy.)

Vaidehi: "Haa lekin atleast ye mujhe aap teeno ki tarah chod ke nahi jaa raha hai"
(At least he’s not leaving me like you three.)

Viyana: "Mumma yaar bas 2 din ki business trip hai meri, aur papa toh 1 din me hi vapas aa jayenge"
(Mumma, it’s just a two-day business trip, and papa will return in just one day.)

Viyakshi: "Aur meri teen din ki hai mumma"
(Mine’s three days, Mumma.)

Vaidaksh gulped nervously, his eyes widening in surprise and fear. Although Vaidehi’s back was turned away and she didn’t notice, his sisters and father clearly saw the fear flicker across his face. Three of them exchanged knowing smirks, amused by his reaction.

Viyansh: "Jaan, zara piche dekhna toh"
(Darling, just look behind you once.)

Vaidehi glanced back at her son and sighed softly. She recognized the expression on his face and crossed her arms over her chest.

Vaidehi: "Kab??"
(When?)

Vaidaksh: "Vo...mumma vo kal Morning ko, 2 hafton ke liye, medical camp organise Kiya hai ek gaav me"
(Mumma… actually, tomorrow Morning… I have to leave for two weeks… for a medical camp in a village.)

Vaidehi: "Kyaaaaaaaa????? 2 hafteeeeeee"
(Whaaaaaat?! Two weeks?!)

Viyansh: "Biwi yaar behra karogi kya"
(Wife, do you want to make me deaf?!)

Vaidehi: "Aap Chup kariye Ansh, aur Dakshu, kya hai ye??? Bahaut jaldi nahi bata diya aapne?? Aur vo tera partner in every crime Krithvik bhi ja raha hai??"
(You be quiet, Ansh. And Dakshu, what is this?! Couldn’t you tell me earlier? And is that crime-partner of yours, Krithvik, going too?)

Vaidaksh nodded in agreement.

Vaidehi: "Abhi hi Kritika ko phone karke batati hu, tum dono ke paav jo ghar me tikte nahi na sab sahi karti hu ruko, sab ke sab mujhe chod ke jaa rahe hai huhh hato ka rhi hu main"
(Let me call Kritika right now. You boys never stay home, I’ll fix this now. All of you are leaving me! I’m just left here with my hands in the air.)

Vaidehi started walking toward the kitchen, but Viyansh gently took her hand and pulled her back into his embrace.

Viyansh: "Aji sunti ho, I love you"
(Hey, listen, I love you!)

Viyana and Viyakshi giggled softly as Vaidaksh smiled warmly, soaking in the love between his parents. Suddenly, Viyana hopped onto the couch and leapt onto Vaidaksh’s back, while Viyakshi wrapped her arms around him from the front. He gently caressed her head, their faces lighting up with joy. The three of them exchanged playful glances before bursting out together in cheerful shouts, filling the room with laughter and warmth.

Vaidaksh, Viyana, Viyakshi: "Papa Loves you Jaaannn"

Vaidehi giggled softly before turning around to embrace Viyansh in a warm hug.

Vaidehi: "Hadd karte hai aap sab bhi na"
(You all are just too much sometimes!)

Viyana: "Hadd nahi mumma hadd se zyada pyaar karte hai aapko"
(Not too much, we love you more than too much, Mumma!)

Viyakshi: "Toh mumma ab hum jaye apni apni trip pe??"
(So Mumma, can we go on our respective trips now?)

Vaidehi: "Haa jao na, mujhe toh khud ek music event me jaana tha"
(Yes, go! I was planning to attend a music event myself anyway.)

Viyansh, Vaidaksh, Viyana, and Viyakshi all widened their eyes and stared at Vaidehi in confusion.

Viyansh: "Toh abhi humari class kyu lagayi thi??"
(Then why were you scolding us earlier?!)

Vaidehi: "Vo toh aise hi bahaut din ho gaye the toh socha time pass kar lu"
(Oh, just like that. It’s been a while since I scolded anyone, thought I’d pass some time.)

Viyana, Viyakshi: "Mumma yaarrrr"

Vaidehi chuckled softly, while the others shot her sharp glances.

Vaidaksh: "Hadd karti ho yaar Jaan aap"
(You’re unbelievable, Jaaan.)

Viyansh: "Pit vit jayega abhi, apni biwi ko jaan kehna meri biwi ko nahi"
(You’ll get smacked now, don’t go calling my wife "Jaan"!)

Vaidaksh closed his eyes, bracing himself for what was about to come.

Vaidehi: "Areh haa, maine kuch ladkiyo ki pics shortlist hai Dakshu tu dekhna aur..."
(Oh right, by the way I’ve shortlisted a few girls’ pictures. Dakshu, take a look and…)

Vaidaksh: "Mumma"

Vaidaksh stepped forward gently, taking Vaidehi’s hand with care. With a warm smile, he guided her toward the couch and helped her settle down comfortably. Then, kneeling gracefully in front of her, he looked up with a reassuring gaze, ready to listen or offer his support.

Vaidaksh: "Mumma, aap jante ho na main shadi nahi karna chahta"
(You know I don’t want to get married right now!)

Viyakshi: "Bhai ke chakkar me tu toh kuwari reh jayegi, bechare Kiwi bhai"
(If brother keep delaying, You’ll end up unmarried too. Poor Kiwi bhai.)

Viyakshi whispered and giggled softly, while Viyana shot a sharp glare at her twin sister. Meanwhile, Viyansh settled down beside Vaidehi.

Viyansh: "Chup reh, dialogue aise maar raha hai jaise devdas ho rakha hai"
(Quiet! Talking like some tragic Devdas!)

Viyana: "Vahi na, bhai yaar ye aapke love at first sight wali fantasy ke chakkar me aise hi reh jaoge aap"
(Exactly! Bhai, if you keep chasing your love-at-first-sight fantasy, you'll stay single forever.)

Vaidehi: "Vahi toh, abhi toh Vihaansh, Viyakshi aur Viyana ki bhai shadi karani hai hume"
(Exactly! We still have to get Vihaansh, Viyakshi, and Viyana’s big brother married.)

Viyansh: "Jaan har baar ye baat nikalna zaruri nahi hota hai, kahi nahi ja rahi hai meri Angel aur Princess."
(Darling, must you bring this up every time? My Angel and Princess are going nowhere!)

Viyana: "Viku bhabhi toh ready bhi hai."
(Viku bhabhi is ready also.)

Viyana and Viyakshi shared a quiet giggle between themselves.

Vaidehi: "Mat samjho koi meri baat, main toh kuch bhi bolti hu na"
(No one listens to me. I’m just talking to myself now.)

Vaidaksh moved to the seat next to Vaidehi and gently settled beside her. With a caring smile, he wrapped one arm around her shoulders in a comforting side hug.

Vaidaksh: "Mumma, I'm just 28 abhi kya jaldi hai"
(Mumma, I’m just 28, what’s the rush?)

Viyansh: "And my angel and princess are just 24"

Vaidehi: "jab main 24 ki thi na tab aapne mujhse shadi ki thi, aur jab aap 28 ke the na tab ye mere pet tha, toh kya galat hai isme??"
(When I was 24, you married me. And when you were 28, I already had this boy in my tummy. So what’s wrong in this?)

Vaidaksh: "Achcha main medical camp se vapas aa jau, phir baat kare??"
(Okay, once I return from the medical camp, we’ll talk about it?)

Vaidehi: "Pakka??"
(Promise?)

Vaidaksh: "Promise."

Vaidehi kissed her son’s forehead gently, then rose and walked over to her daughters.

Vaidehi: "Ek baar iski shadi ho jaye, phir tum dono ki bhi"
(Once we get him married, then we’ll handle you two!)

Viyana blushed shyly, while Viyakshi dashed over to their father and wrapped her arms around him in a warm hug.

Viyakshi: "Par mujhe nahi karni koi shadi"
(But I don’t want to get married.)

Viyana: "Bechare Avii bhai, pata nahi kya hoga unka"
(Poor Avii bhai… don’t know what’ll happen to him now.)

Viyana leaned close to her mother and whispered something, prompting both of them to chuckle softly at poor Aveer.

In Singhania Law firm,

Inside the cabin, a sleek nameplate gleamed with the inscription: "Advocate Vihaansh Singhania." Vihaansh sat behind a polished wooden desk, dressed sharply in a crisp white shirt, tailored black blazer, and matching black trousers. His attention was fully absorbed by the file open before him.

The room was bathed in soft shades of white and grey, reflecting a clear preference for light, calming colors over anything dark or heavy. Every detail spoke of meticulous taste, from the spotless desk to the minimalist decor. Obviously, His someone Special, likes only light colours.

Vihaansh’s hair was perfectly styled, each strand in place as if sculpted by precision itself. On his wrist, a sleek watch gleamed under the cabin lights, and his polished black shoes rested firmly on the floor. In one hand, he held a pen, occasionally raising it to his lips and absently slipping it between his teeth as he pondered over the documents.

Just then, the door to Vihaansh’s cabin swung open with a sharp, forceful bang. A girl strode in quickly, her presence filling the room with a burst of energy. She wore a simple white sleeveless tank top paired with loose, wide-leg blue jeans and clean white sneakers. Her long hair was neatly tied back in a French braid, revealing a face touched with minimal makeup and subtle accessories. Despite her otherwise calm appearance, her fair skin was flushed bright red with anger, and her eyes burned with frustration.

Vihaansh remained unfazed, offering her a sly smile without even sparing her a glance. The girl marched up to his desk and slammed her hand down with a heavy thud, her glare piercing straight through him. But still, Vihaansh kept his eyes fixed on his file, a teasing smirk playing on his lips, well aware that his indifference only stoked the fire of her fury.

She waited for two tense minutes, her breath shallow and her frustration mounting, but when Vihaansh continued to ignore her, she turned sharply to leave. Before she could reach the door, Vihaansh rose smoothly from his chair and quickly intercepted her, grasping her wrist with a firm but controlled hold.

Vihaansh: "Avikaaaa"

Vihaansh called out to Rudravika with a voice so soft and tender that it could melt even the coldest heart. His words wrapped around her like a gentle embrace, stirring something deep within her. Yet, despite the pull of his touch and the warmth in his tone, today wasn’t the day she would let herself slip away, she was determined to stay strong and not leave her anger.

Rudravika: "Humara hath chodiye, hum thode se rusht hai aapse, hume baat nahi karni"
(Let go of my hand. I’m a little upset with you. I don’t want to talk.)

Vihaansh smiled softly, struggling to hold back the strong urge to wrap his arms around her. Instead, he gently pulled her closer and turned her to face him. She crossed her arms tightly over her chest, avoiding his gaze by looking away to the side, a hint of stubbornness mixed with shyness in her expression.

Vihaansh: "Betu main jaldi me tha aaj, ek client se early morning meeting thi"
(Sweetheart, I was in a hurry today. I had an early morning meeting with a client.)

Rudravika: "Nahi vo sab hum nahi jante, hum bas itna jante hai ki aap hume aaj apne sath nahi le aaye hai"
(I don’t want to hear all that. All I know is that you didn’t take me along with you today.)

Vihaansh quickly held his ears with both hands, bending slightly forward until his face was close to hers. Tilting his head curiously, he waited, a playful sparkle in his eyes.

Vihaansh: "Achcha Sorry, iske badle me tumhe coffee pilane le chalunga"
(Okay, sorry. In return, I’ll take you out for a coffee.)

Rudravika glanced at him with a faint, almost imperceptible smile playing on her lips.

Rudravika: "aapka matlab hai coffee DATEEE???"
(You mean... a coffee DATEEE???)

Now Rudravika playfully teased him, fully aware of his shy nature. Just the mention of the word “date” made the poor guy flush bright red. Trying to hide his embarrassment, Vihaansh’s eyes widened, and he quickly averted his gaze, looking away to avoid her teasing smile. Rudravika couldn’t help but suppress a giggle at his adorable reaction.

Rudravika: "Kahiye na, isme itna vichaar vimash kya kar rahe hai"
(Just say it! What’s taking so much thought and analysis?)

Vihaansh: "Umm... Ma..main samjha nahi tum kya rahi ho Avika, adha time kya kehti ho kya pata"
(Umm… I… I don’t understand what you’re saying, Avika. Half the time I don’t even know what you mean.)

Rudravika shot him a sharp glare once again, her eyes narrowing with playful annoyance.

Rudravika: "Humari baatein aapki mastishk me jaati hi nahi hai"
(My words never make it to your brain, do they?)

Vihaansh: "Konsa Ishq hai??"
(What kind of love is this?)

Rudravika: "Vahi jo apke dil me hai par zubaan pe nahi"
(The kind that’s in your heart… but never makes it to your lips.)

Rudravika murmured softly to herself, and Vihaansh leaned in closer, trying to catch her words, but no matter how hard he listened, he couldn’t make out what she said.

Vihaansh: "Kya??"
(What??)

Rudravika: "Kuch nahiiiiiiiiii, apne mastishk ka ilaaj karaiye"
(Nothingggggg! Go get your brain checked!)

Vihaansh straightened up, pulled out his phone, and quickly dialed Ruhanika’s number. She picked up after just two rings.

Ruhanika: "Haan Anshu beta"
(Yes, Anshu Son?)

Vihaansh: "Ruhi Aunty, aapki beti ne phir se mere muh pe Hindi fek ke mari hai"
(Ruhi Aunty, your daughter has once again thrown a load of pure Hindi straight at my face!)

Ruhanika chuckled warmly, accustomed to their daily banter. It was a routine, Vihaansh called her at least once or twice every day, always eager to ask about the meanings of different words.

Ruhanika: "Kya kaha??"
(What did she say??)

Vihaansh: "Hey betu, aunty ko word bolo"
(Hey sweetheart, say that word)

Rudravika: "Bye mumma ,Hum samjha denge"
(Bye Mumma, I’ll explain it to him later.)

Rudravika snatched the phone from Vihaansh’s hand, abruptly ending the call. She fixed him with a sharp glare, silently warning him to stop before he could say another word.

Vihaansh: "Kya??"
(What??)

Rudravika: "Kya tha ye?? Baar baar kyu call karte hai mumma ko??"
(What was that?? Why do you keep calling Mumma all the time?)

Vihaansh: "Toh tum itni bhari Hindi fekti kyu ho mujhpe??"
(Then why do you throw such heavy Hindi at me all the time?)

Rudravika: "Mastishk matlab dimaag, jo aapne bas case solve karte waqt rehta hai, humare samne toh band ho jaata hai, nahi??"
(Mastishk means brain, which only works when you're solving a case. In front of me, it just shuts down. Doesn’t it?)

Vihaansh: "Tumhare samne toh bas Dil kaam karta hai"
(In front of you… only my heart works.)

Vihaansh muttered quietly under his breath, careful to keep his words just out of Rudravika’s hearing. She frowned, puzzled by his hushed tone and the secretive expression on his face.

Rudravika: "Kyaa?? Kya kaha aapne??"
(Whaaaat?? What did you just say??)

Vihaansh: "Maine kaha, mujhe maaf kardo meri maa, chalo leke chalta hu tumhe, aao"
(I said, forgive me, my queen. Let me take you out. Come on.)

Rudravika: "Lekin..."
(But...)

Before Rudravika could protest further, Vihaansh gently turned her by the shoulders and led her out, heading toward a nearby café for coffee.

In RKAM Mansion,

Viyana burst into the room, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she spotted the ladies gathered in the living room, sipping their morning tea. Without hesitation, she ran over to Savisha, plopped down beside her, and leaned in slightly, eager to join in the warmth of the moment.

Viyana: "paaye laagu sasu maa"
(Touching feet Bless me, dear mother-in-law!)

Saviya: "Sar par hath Bahu Rani"
(Hand on her head, daughter-in-law.)

They all burst into laughter, amused by Viyana's playful antics.

Viyana: "umm Mami, bua, chachi sab Sasu log ko aapki badi Bahu ka shat shat naman"
(Umm… to my aunt, aunt-in-law, grandaunt, all dear mothers-in-law, your eldest daughter-in-law bows down in deep respect.)

Akshavi: "Vaidehi bhabhi ki carbon copy ban gayi hai puri"
(She’s become a carbon copy of Vaidehi bhabhi!)

Ruhanika: ,Achcha hai bhabhi, ab humare ghar aa jayegi toh yaha bhi Raunak lagegi"
(That’s great, bhabhi. Once she comes to our house, there will be life and sparkle here too!)

Kritika: "Haa bilkul, Varna in ladko ne toh bore kar rakha hai, bas Viku aur Riyu hai ki Masti karti hai"
(Absolutely! These boys have made everything boring. Only Viku and Riyu keep things lively.)

Viyana: "Haa buii aur aapko pata hai mere bhratashree aur Krithu bhratashree phir medical camp ja rahe hai kal subabh"
(Yes, and you know what, auntie? My dear brother and Krithu-bhai are going on a medical camp again tomorrow morning!)

Kritika: "Kya?? Aur is papa ke pillu ne mujhe bataya bhi nahi, aaj khair nahi in dono baap bete ki"
(What?? And this daddy’s boy didn’t even tell me?! These father-son duos are in trouble today!)

Kritika grabbed his phone and stood up, while the rest of the ladies giggled softly in the background.

Viyana: "Achcha sasu maa, mere vo kaha hai??"
(Anyway, dear mother-in-law, where is my beloved?)

Avyukta: "apne kamre me, abhi chai dekar aayi hu keh raha tha, aaj kahi ja raha hai"
(In his room. I just served him tea. He said he’s going somewhere today.)

Savisha: "Haa kisi dost se milne, tu ja jaldi se mil le Varna nikal jaye"
(Yeah, he’s meeting a friend. Go quickly, or he’ll leave before you get there.)

Viyana: "Abhi darshan karke aati hu"
(I’ll go and meet him)

Viyana hurried upstairs, her footsteps echoing softly against the walls as she made a beeline for Kiyaansh’s room. She noticed the door was slightly ajar and a mischievous grin tugged at her lips, perfect for a little harmless scare. Quietly, she peeked inside, only to find something that made her eyes widen in surprise.

Kiyaansh stood by the window, engrossed in a phone call, his back turned towards her. He wore only a pair of jeans, bare-chested, revealing the toned muscles of his back. A sly smirk crept onto Viyana’s face at the unexpected sight.

Without hesitation, she pushed the door wide open and leaned casually against the frame, letting her presence fill the room. The sudden noise caught Kiyaansh off guard, he spun around, eyes wide with shock as he took in the sight of Viyana standing there, clearly amused.

Viyana: "Khili Chaandani Jaisaa Ye Badan
Janam Milaa Tum ko
Maan Mein Socha tha Jaisaa Roop Teraa
Aayaa Nazar Ham ko"

Viyana winked teasingly at Kiyaansh, her eyes sparkling with playful mischief. Almost instantly, he ended the call, his fingers fumbling slightly as he grabbed a shirt lying on the bed. Without looking at her, he turned his back, slipping his arms into the sleeves, trying to maintain whatever composure he could.

Viyana couldn’t help but giggle softly at the faint flush creeping across his cheeks. Now dressed in a rich brown shirt paired with black jeans, Kiyaansh moved to sit on the edge of the bed, bending down to slip on his shoes. His hair was perfectly styled, every strand in place, and the sunlight streaming through the window illuminated his fair, handsome face, giving it an almost radiant glow.

Kiyaansh: "Kya harkat hai ye Viyana?? Yaha kya kar rahi ho??"
(What’s going on, Viyana?? What are you doing here?)

Viyana: "Vo aapki lean body, mast abs aur hot back ..."
(Well… your lean body, perfect abs, and hot back…)

Kiyaansh: "What???"

Kiyaansh stood up and faced her fully. She straightened her posture and rested one hand gently on her lower back.

Viyana: "Vo, ye sab dekhne nahi aayi thi... Main toh aapse milne aayi thi"
(I mean, I didn’t come to see all that. I came to meet you!)

Kiyaansh rolled his eyes at her with a smile, then headed over to his dressing table inside the closet to grab his wallet and watch.

Kiyaansh: "Mujhse kyu milna?? Office nahi jaana hai tumhe aaj, time pass karne aa jati ho"
(Meet me? Don’t you have office today? Or did you come here just to waste time?)

Viyana: "Dil lagane aati hu, vo toh aap nahi karte hai na"
(I came to spend my heart with you, which you never seem to do!)

Kiyaansh: "Dekho tum.."
(Look, you…)

Viyana: "Mujhe aapke sath ice cream khane jaana tha, le chalenge please??"
(I wanted to have ice cream with you. Will you take me? Please?)

Kiyaansh: "Viyana dekho...."
(Viyana, look…)

Viyana: "Please Prannath le chaliye na"
(Please, my beloved, take me!)

As Viyana moved toward him, he held up his hands to gently stop her.

Kiyaansh: "Okay okay, le chalta hu tum pehle bahar wait Karo"
(Okay, okay! I’ll take you. Just go wait outside first.)

Viyana: "Okayyy"

Viyana grinned mischievously and stepped out of his closet. Kiyaansh sighed, smiled warmly, and shook his head in amused resignation.

Kiyaansh: "Pagal kardegi kisi din mujhe"
(She’s going to drive me mad someday!)

Kiyaansh chuckled softly before dressing carefully, ensuring he looked every bit the gentleman. Grabbing his keys, he stepped out of his closet and into his room, where Viyana was already sprawled comfortably on his bed, casually scrolling through her phone as if she owned the place.

Kiyaansh: "Chalo ab"
(Alright, let’s go now.)

Viyana stood up confidently, grasping his biceps with both hands and flashing a cheeky grin.

Viyana: "Chaliye"
(Let’s go!)

Kiyaansh began walking alongside Viyana, but as he caught sight of her amused smile, he quickly turned his face away, trying to hide the faint blush coloring his cheeks. They descended the stairs together, the soft sound of their footsteps blending with the quiet hum of the house.

In the dining area, Savisha was busy arranging plates on the table, her movements gentle and precise. Just then, Kartavya approached from behind and wrapped his arms around her in a warm back hug, pressing a tender kiss to her head. Savisha relaxed into his embrace, her eyes closing briefly as they shared a quiet moment. Their soft conversation floated through the air, filled with comfort and familiarity.

Watching this tender scene, Kiyaansh smiled softly, his heart swelling with affection for his parents and the peaceful warmth of home.

Viyana: "Aapne inhe humesha aise hi pyaar karte dekha hoga na"
(You must have always seen them love each other like this, right?)

Kiyaansh: "Haa"
(Yeah…)

Viyana: "Toh seekhte kyu nahi kuch?"
(Then why don’t you learn something from them?)

Viyana shot Kiyaansh a fierce glare, causing him to gulp nervously at the intensity of her stare.

Kiyaansh: "Ahh.. v...vo ice cream, ice cream khane chalte hai chalo"
(Uh... l-let’s just go eat ice cream now. Come on!)

Kiyaansh gently pulled her along, and Viyana giggled softly, well aware of how much he was afraid of her fierce glare.

In a room bathed entirely in soft shades of pink, from the walls to the curtains, Riyanshi stood firmly beneath the bed, her hands planted on her hips. Her sharp gaze was locked onto her daughter, who was perched confidently on top of the bed. The contrast was striking: Riyaanah, dressed casually in a black tank top paired with crisp white shorts and shoes, looked every bit the spirited child she was, while Riyanshi’s expression carried a mix of sternness and concern. The pink surroundings gave the scene a playful yet tense atmosphere, as mother and daughter faced off in silent challenge.

Riyanshi: "Ek toh phone Tod diya, uper se jute pehen ke bed pe khadi ho??? Niche aao"
(First, you broke your phone, and now you're standing on the bed with shoes on??? Get down!)

Riyanaah: "Main nahi aaunga, aap daatogi mujhe, dekho janamdata, papa bahar gaye iska matlab ye nahi ki aap mujhe daantogi"
(I won't get down! You're going to scold me. Just because Dad is out doesn’t mean you can take it out on me.)

Riyanshi: "Main nahi aaunga nahi, nahi hota hai vo main nahi aaungi bola kar pehle"
(It’s not “I won’t get down,” it’s I won’t get down (in the correct feminine form). Learn to say it properly first!)

Riyanaah: "huhh, main nahi aaunga bolunga main, akhir main apne papa bachcha hu"
(Huhh, I’ll say “I won’t get down” however I want. After all, I’m Daddy’s child!)

Riyanaah said proudly, tugging at her imaginary collar, while Riyanshi shot her a sharp glare.

Riyanshi: "Teri toh, Ruk ja tu aaj"
(That’s it! You're in trouble today!)

Before Riyanshi could react, Riyanaah leapt off the bed and dashed out of her room. She hurried down the stairs and spotted Rudraksh heading out the door.

Riyanaah: "Bade paaapaaaaa, bachaooo"
(Big Daaaaaddyyyy, save meeeee!)

Rudraksh came to a halt and turned around to see Riyanaah sprinting towards him. Without hesitation, she threw her arms around him in a tight hug. Instantly, his protective instincts surged, and he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close with fierce care.

Rudraksh: "Kya hua little princess?? Bhag kyu Rahi hai aap?? Gir jaati na beta abhi"
(What happened, little princess? Why are you running? You could’ve fallen just now, sweetheart.)

Riyanaah: "Areh vo meri kaikayi maa mere piche padi hai na"
(My Kaikeyi mother is chasing me!)

Rudraksh chuckled softly at her words and playfully flicked her nose.

Rudraksh: "Ab kya kiya hai meri little princess se??"
(Now what did my little princess do?)

Riyanshi: "Main batati hu bhai, ye madam ne phir se apna phone Tod diya hai"
(I’ll tell you, Bhai. Madam here has broken her phone again.)

Riyanaah: "Toda nahi hai, vo gussa me haath se choot gaya"
(I didn’t break it! It slipped from my hand because I was angry!)

Riyanshi: "Fekna kehte hai use"
(That’s called throwing it.)

Riyanaah: "Haa haa vahi, gusse me feka tha toh Naya dila do na itna natak kyu kar rahi ho aap??"
(Yeah, yeah, same thing. I threw it in anger, so just get me a new one. Why are you being so dramatic?)

Rudraksh: "Haa Riyu beta, bachchi hai new dila denge usme kya"
(Yeah Riyu beta, she’s a kid. We’ll get her a new one, what’s the big deal?)

Riyanshi: "Usme ye bhai, ki vo phone Rishu ne ise abhi pichle mahine dilaya tha, is ladki ko kadar hi nahi kisi cheez ki"
(The big deal, Bhai, is that Rishu got her that phone just last month. This girl doesn’t value anything.)

Rudraksh glanced at Riyanaah, who responded with a sheepish smile. He chuckled warmly in response.

Rudraksh: "Achcha main samjhata hu tu jaa"
(Okay, I’ll handle her. You go.)

Riyanshi: "Pakka??"
(Promise?)

Rudraksh: "haaa"
(Promise.)

Riyanshi walked away, and Riyanaah let out a relieved sigh, only to catch Rudraksh’s sharp glare immediately afterward.

Rudraksh: "Kya hai ye sab??"
(What is all this?)

Riyanaah: "Bade papa vo sab chodo, chalo mujhe pink phone dilao, aur dekhiye ab main bada ho gaya hu college jaata hu toh zyada padhai bhi karunga toh ek ipad aur ek laptop bhi aur ha new airpods bhi, ek smartwatch bhi sab gadgets dilao"
(Big Papa, leave all that. Come on, get me a pink phone. And look, I’m grown up now, I go to college, so I’ll study more. I also need an iPad, a laptop, and yes, new AirPods and a smartwatch too. Just get me all the gadgets!)

Rudraksh: "Riyu ko pata chala toh khair nahi teri"
(If Riyu finds out, you’re done for.)

Riyanaah: "Papa dekh lenge janamdata ko, aap chalo mujhe dilao sab, chalooooooo"
(Daddy can handle Mom. You come with me and get everything. Let’s goooooo!)

She tugged Rudraksh along with her, and he chuckled at her playful antics, shaking his head with a smile.

At Oberoi industries office,

Oberoi Industries originally belonged to Vaidehi's father and is now managed by Viyakshi.

Viyakshi was seated in her cabin, focused on her work, when her phone suddenly buzzed. The screen lit up with the name "Veer," causing a soft smile to spread across her face. Taking a deep breath, she quickly composed herself, steadying her emotions before answering the call.

Viyakshi: "Hello"

Aveer: "Umm Hiii"

Viyakshi furrowed her eyebrows, sensing deeply that something was troubling him. She understood him all too well.

Viyakshi: "Kya hua hai Veer?? Pareshan ho tum??"
(What’s wrong, Veer? Are You stressed??)

Aveer: "Umm Akshu, meri ek meeting hai, women delegates hai sath chalogi kya??"
(Umm… Akshu, I have a meeting, with women delegates. Will you come with me?)

Viyakshi: "Hain???"
(What???)

Aveer: "Haa I mean, tumhe pata hai na mujhe ladkiyon ke paas thoda ajeeb mat...lab vaise ki.."
(Yeah, I mean… you know how I get nervous around girls, like… not nervous exactly but...)

Viyakshi: "Veer, tum keh rahe ho main ladki nahi hu??"
(Veer, are you saying I’m not a girl?)

Aveer: "Areh nahi nahi Akshu, I mean tum toh alag ho na tum special ho yaar, please mere sath chalo na yaar please"
(No, no! Akshu, you’re different, you’re special, yaar. Please come with me, please?)

Viyakshi smiled warmly at him, knowing he felt a bit uneasy around girls and had never really looked at anyone else the way he did with her.

Aveer: "Chalogi kya??"
(Will you?)

Viyakshi: "Okay, mujhe office se pick kar lena."
(Okay, just pick me up from the office.)

Aveer: "Thank you so much meri inaayat, abhi aata hu main, chalo bye."
(Thank you so much, my blessing, my Inaayat. I’ll come right away. Bye!)

Viyakshi smiled softly as she heard him grabbing his keys. He ended the call and glanced at her phone screen, pausing on Aveer’s picture.

Viyakshi: "Na jaane Aisa kya kiya hai maine that you call me inaayat, your blessing. Pagal ho tum, janti hu koi meeting nahi hai tumhari, pareshan ho mujhse milna chahte ho phir bhi mera comfort pehli priority hai tumhari, tum itne achche kyu ho Veer, main kaise sambhalu khud ko."
(I don’t know what I’ve done that you call me Inaayat, your blessing. You’re crazy, I know there’s no meeting. You’re upset, you just want to meet me, and yet, my comfort is still your first priority. Why are you so good, Veer? How do I keep myself together?)

Viyakshi shook her head softly, a mixture of warmth and amusement flickering across her face as she prepared to leave. After a while, she made her way down to the ground floor, where she noticed Aveer stepping inside the office. He was dressed impeccably in smart casual attire, a crisp white shirt under a tailored blazer, the sleeves rolled up just enough to reveal his forearms. Beige pants complemented his look, and his white sneakers added a relaxed yet stylish touch. His hair was perfectly set, and black goggles shielded his eyes, giving him an air of mystery and undeniable charm.

He looked devilishly handsome, the kind of presence that made heads turn and hearts flutter. Across the office, several girls covertly glanced his way, their expressions a mix of admiration and longing. Viyakshi’s eyes narrowed into a sharp glare aimed at the onlookers, silently warning them off.

But Aveer’s gaze was locked solely on her. When their eyes met, his lips curved into a warm, knowing smile. In that moment, all the weight of his stress seemed to vanish. He moved toward her with quick, eager steps but held himself back just in time, his desire to embrace her nearly overwhelming, yet he restrained himself, unwilling to make her feel even the slightest discomfort.

Aveer: "Hayy Inayat, aaj toh ekdum keher dha rahi ho yaar humesha ki tarah, ab main gaadi chalunga ya tumhe dekhunga"
(Oh Inaayat, today you’re absolutely breathtaking, as always. Now should I drive, or should I just look at you?)

Viyakshi shot him a sharp glare and crossed her arms firmly over her chest.

Viyakshi: "Ek lagau ya chalte ho chup chaap"
(Should I slap you or should we just leave quietly?)

Aveer: "Ek laga do phir chalte hai kya pata main hosh me aa jau tumhare nashe se"
(Go ahead and slap me, maybe it’ll snap me out of your intoxicating effect.)

Viyakshi: "Veeeeerrrrrrr"

Aveer chuckled warmly and took a playful bow before her.

Aveer: "After you, my Akshu."

Viyakshi smiled and quickly walked ahead, trying to hide her grin, though he could easily sense her happiness. Together, they left for the café.
