"2. Moments of Mischief and Love"

The next morning, Vaidaksh was ready to leave for his medical camp. Since he had to carry a considerable amount of medical supplies and equipment, some of which he had already shipped in advance to the village, he was traveling on the Singhania family’s private jet. Stepping out of the house with a sturdy travel bag slung over his shoulder, he was accompanied by his family, who had gathered to see him off. Coincidentally, Viyansh, Viyana, and Viyakshi were also leaving for their own respective work commitments, creating a small flurry of morning goodbyes and wishes.

Just then, a figure emerged through the front gate, instantly catching everyone’s attention. It was a young man walking with an easy, confident swagger. He wore a casual blue-and-white striped shirt, paired with fitted blue jeans and clean sneakers. A sleek silver watch adorned his wrist, and stylish black sunglasses framed his striking features, accentuated by a light beard that gave him a ruggedly handsome look. A playful whistle slipped through his lips as he dragged his travel bag behind him, looking completely at ease and effortlessly captivating.

Vaidehi: "Lo ye janab bhi aa gaye, aaiye Krithvik Maharaj"
(Oh, look who’s here, please welcome, His Highness Krithvik!)

Krithvik rushed over to Vaidehi, coming to a stop right in front of her before wrapping her in a warm hug.

Krithvik: "Good morning Meri maharani"
(Good morning, my queen!)

Viyansh playfully slapped Krithvik on the back, making him pull away from the hug and pout in protest.

Krithvik: "Kya yaar Viyansh Uncle, itna kya jalte ho aap??"
(Come on, Viyansh Uncle, why are you so jealous?)

Viyansh: "Biwi hai meri, ek thappad padega na sahi ho jayega abhi"
(She’s my wife, boy. One tight slap will fix your brain right now.)

Krithvik: "Uncle sahi toh mujhe aaj tak mummy nahi kar paayi, khair vo toh papa ko bhi nahi kar paayi"
(Uncle, even my mom hasn’t managed to fix me till today, and she hasn’t fixed Dad either.)

Viyana: "Krithu bhai, sach bataiye aaj phir kriti aunty se pit ke aaye hai na"
(Krithu bhai, tell the truth, did you get beaten up by Kriti aunty again today?)

Krithvik: "Chup kar itna sach nahi bolte hai"
(Shut up, you shouldn’t speak so much truth.)

Viyakshi: "achcha sirf aap pite hai ya Aakarsh uncle ne bhi company di aapko"
(Oh, so is it only you who gets beaten up, or did Uncle Aakarsh join you too?)

Krithvik: "Jaha main vaha papa, baaki aap khud samajhdaar hai"
(Wherever I go, Dad goes. You can figure out the rest yourself.)

They all chuckled, and Vaidehi affectionately patted Krithvik’s cheeks with a warm smile.

Vaidehi: "Badmash sudhar ja"
(Naughty boy, behave yourself.)

Krithvik: "Sirf aapke liye try karunga beautiful"
(I’ll try, just for you, beautiful.)

Krithvik cheekily winked at Vaidehi, earning a sharp glare from Viyansh.

Vaidaksh: "Achcha Mumma, hum nikalte hai, pohch ke call kar dunga aapko don't worry"
(Alright Mumma, I’m leaving now. I’ll call you when I reach, don’t worry.)

Krithvik: "Haa Aunty main isi liye toh ja raha hu, bhai ka achcha khayal rakhunga main"
(Yeah, aunty, that’s exactly why I’m going too, I’ll take good care of him.)

Vaidaksh: "Rehne de sabko pata hai kon kiska kitna khayal rakhta hai"
(Oh please, everyone knows how much care you really take.)

Krithvik: "Areh chalo chalo late ho raha hai"
(Come on, come on, we’re getting late.)

Krithvik grabbed his bag and marched straight toward the car without a backward glance, making everyone chuckle at his dramatic exit. Meanwhile, Vaidaksh took a moment to hug his sisters and his father warmly, then turned to his mother, embracing her gently and placing a soft kiss on her head, a gesture filled with affection and respect.

Vaidaksh: "Aata hu mumma"
(I’m going, Mumma.)

Vaidehi: "achcha try karna aate waqt meri Bahu leke aane ki"
(And try to bring me back a daughter-in-law when you return!)

Vaidaksh: "Mummmaaaaaa"

Vaidaksh let out a dramatic whine, making everyone around chuckle in amusement. Shaking his head with a playful sigh, he and Krithvik settled into the car, the soft purr of the engine breaking the morning calm as they headed toward the airport.

Meanwhile, Viyakshi, Viyana, and Viyansh gathered their things and prepared to leave for their respective workplaces. Each of them exchanged warm goodbyes with Vaidehi before stepping out of the house, their voices mingling with the faint bustle of the morning.

Left alone in the quiet foyer, Vaidehi took a deep breath and smiled to herself. She turned and made her way upstairs to her room, ready to get dressed for her upcoming event, her mind already running through the details of the day ahead.

As the house settled into a quiet rhythm, a man dressed in a crisp blue shirt and white pants casually descended the stairs, his steps slow and deliberate. Just then, another figure appeared at the entrance, clad in a white and blue striped sweatshirt paired with white pants, carrying a luggage bag and a cricket kit.

Their eyes locked instantly, sparks of tension flashing between them. Without a word, both men glared fiercely at each other, the silence breaking with a simultaneous shout that echoed through the hallway.

"Aaj tu nahi bachega Chorrrrrr"
(Today you won’t escape, you thief!)

Just then, a woman named Vruddhi stepped out from another room and caught sight of her sons glaring fiercely at one another. Exasperated, she let out a quiet sigh, brought her hand to her forehead in a facepalm, and shook her head in disbelief at their stubbornness.

Vruddhi: "Virat, bahar aaiye ye aapke ladle phir ladne Wale hai"
(Virat, come out, your sons are about to fight again!)

Vruddhi’s husband, Virat, stepped out of the room and spotted his sons, Vyanav and Vaidik, together.

Virat: "Ye Vyanav ghar kab aaya"
(When did Vyanav come home?)

Vruddhi: "Abhi aaya hai shayad, batata bhi nahi hai aane se pehle"
(Just now, I guess. Didn’t even tell us he was coming.)

Vaidik: "Chorr kahike tu meri sweatshirt leke Gaya tha"
(You thief! You took my sweatshirt!)

Vyanav: t"une bhi toh meri shirt pehni hai chorr"
(And you’re wearing my shirt, you thief!)

Vruddhi: "Kya keh rahe ho dono???"
(What are you both saying??)

Vyanav and Vaidik exchanged glances, taking in their mother’s stern expression before turning to their father, who silently gestured for them to keep quiet. Obediently, the boys fell silent. Then, with a cheeky grin, Vyanav dashed toward his mother and wrapped her in a warm embrace, softening the tension in the room.

Vyanav: "Hellooo hottieeeeeee"

Virat immediately slapped his son on the back and fixed him with a stern glare.

Virat: "Sharam karle maa hai teri"
(Have some shame, that’s your mother.)

Vyanav: "Maa hai toh kya hottie nahi ho sakti kya?? Aap batao mumma main sahi keh raha hu na??"
(So what? A mom can’t be a hottie? Tell me, Mumma, am I right?)

Vruddhi: "Areh bilkul sahi, I'm still hottie, Virat aap hi budde ho gaye ho"
(Absolutely right! I’m still a hottie. Virat, you’re the one who’s gotten old.)

Virat: "Riddhu piddu, aise bologi ab tum"
(Riddhi-piddu, you’re going to talk like that now??)

Vaidik stepped up behind his father, resting his chin gently on Virat’s shoulder while wrapping his hand around it in a comforting gesture.

Vaidik: "Papa ye Vyanav hi mumma ka dimaag kharab kar raha hai, main toh kehta hu pito usko mazaa aayega"
(Dad, Vyanav is the one who spoils Mumma’s mind. I say beat him up, it’ll be fun!)

Vyanav: "Nahi papa isko pito ye chor hai mera shirt chorr"
(No, Dad, beat him instead! He’s a thief who stole my shirt!)

Vruddhi: "teeno toh ek ek lagegi na akkal thikane aa jayegi"
(All three of you need a good whack, that might fix your brains.)

Virat: "Par maine kya kiya??"
(But what did I do??)

Vruddhi: "In dono ko bigaadne ka saara kaam aap hi ne kiya hai, hatiye ab"
(You’re the one who spoiled these two in the first place. Now move aside!)

Vruddhi gently pushed Virat aside and walked away, leaving the three men standing there, puzzled and exchanging confused glances. Virat’s eyes narrowed as he shot a sharp glare at Vyanav and Vaidik, clearly displeased with them.

Virat: "Tum dono ko vajah se hi sunna padta hai, hatooo"
(I have to hear all this because of you two, move!)

Virat shoved Vaidik and Vyanav aside roughly before storming off. Left standing together, Vyanav and Vaidik exchanged a quick glance, then broke into wide grins and pulled each other into a hearty hug, their bond stronger than any tension around them.

Vaidik: "Achcha khela tha tu, proud of you"
(You played well today, proud of you.)

Vaidik gave his brother, who was just twelve minutes younger, a gentle pat before they both pulled away from the hug.

Vyanav: "Toh phir isi Khushi me meri shirt de"
(Then in that happiness, give me back my shirt.)

Vaidik: "Laat khane hi ghar aata hai na??"
(You only come home to get kicked, don’t you??)

Vyanav: "Tu kya kar Raha hai Ghar pe?? Aaj patang baazi nahi karni??"
(What are you doing home, anyway? Didn’t you want to go fly kites today?)

Vaidik: "Ulta latka ke marunga meri flights ko patang bola toh"
(If you call my flights kites again, I’ll hang you upside down!)

Vyanav: "Jab dekho ladne ko taiyaar, tabhi ladki nahi mil rahi tujhe"
(Always ready to fight, no wonder you can’t find a girl.)

Vaidik: "Jab dekho mere kapdo me hero banega, tabhi Riyanaah piche padi hai na??"
(And you always try to act like a hero in my clothes, no wonder Riyanaah is chasing you!)

This time, Vyanav blushed and quickly turned away. Vaidik smirked knowingly and rested his hand firmly on Vyanav’s shoulder.

Vaidik: "Bol na chup kyu ho gaya??"
(Say something! Why have you gone silent?)

Vyanav: "Hatt yaar thak gaya hu main, sone de bye"
(Oh, shut up, I’m tired. Let me sleep, bye.)

Vyanav darted away, leaving Vaidik chuckling softly behind him.

After a while, Vyanav wandered aimlessly through the garden, feeling completely unoccupied. The stillness around him only deepened his boredom as he searched for something to break the monotony.

Vyanav: "Bore ho raha hu, meri Miss Dhamaka ko call karke tang karta hu, dekhu kya kar rahi hai aaj kal, hehee"
(I’m bored… let me call my Miss Dhamaka and annoy her. Let’s see what she’s up to these days, hehe.)

Vyanav pulled out his phone and dialed Riyanaah’s number, but it went straight to voicemail, her phone was switched off. Frowning, he tried again, hoping for a different result, but once more, there was no response. A flicker of confusion crossed his face as he wondered what could be keeping her unreachable.

Vyanav: "aisa toh kabhi nahi karti, theek toh hai ye pagal kahi phir kisi se lad na li ho... Jaake dekhta hu"
(She never acts like this… is she okay? Did she get into a fight again? Let me check.)

Without wasting a moment, Vyanav stepped out of his house and made his way straight to the neighboring bungalow. Passing through the gate, he walked quietly toward the house, his mind racing with thoughts. As he neared the lawn, he spotted Riyanaah sitting alone, her elbows resting heavily on her knees, and her face buried in her palms, lost in a world of her own.

Gently, Vyanav settled down beside her, the soft grass cushioning their silence. Despite his presence, Riyanaah remained still, her gaze fixed downward, avoiding his eyes. The weight of unspoken words hung thick between them, filling the space with a quiet tension neither seemed ready to break.

Vyanav: "Miss Dhamaka??"

Riyanaah remained unresponsive, causing a growing sense of confusion and concern to wash over Vyanav. He quickly checked her temperature, it was normal, yet she still showed no reaction. Alarmed, he gently shook her, hoping to rouse her from the strange silence.

Vyanav: "Oyee, kaha khoyi ho??"
(Heyyy, what are you lost in??)

Slowly, Riyanaah emerged from her imaginary world and met Vyanav’s concerned gaze. A bright smile spread across her face before she suddenly threw her arms around him in a warm embrace. He chuckled softly, wrapping his arms around her in return, relieved to have her back in the moment.

Riyanaah: "ohh my my Mr. Handsome aap aa gaye, mujhe bataya bhi nahi"
(Oh my my, Mr. Handsome, you’re here! You didn’t even tell me!)

Vyanav chuckled softly, gently caressing her head before pulling away, though she continued to smile warmly at him.

Riyanaah: "I missed you so much, pata hai  college me na Maine kya kya kiya hai mujhe sab batana hai aapko"
(I missed you so much. You know, I have so much to tell you about college today!)

Vyanav: "Theek hai bata dena, par ye batao ye phone kyu nahi lag raha tumhara??"
(Okay, you can tell me. But tell me this, why isn’t your phone working?)

Riyanaah lowered her head, her lips forming a small pout.

Vyanav: "Riyanaah??? Kya hua hai"
(Riyanaah??? What happened?)

Riyanaah then reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone, holding it up for Vyanav to see. The phone was cracked and broken, a clear sign of some recent mishap. Vyanav chuckled softly, shaking his head with amusement at her predicament.

Vyanav: "Phir tod diya"
(You broke it again, didn’t you?)

Riyanaah: "Ab mumma bahaut dategi"
(Now Mumma will really scold me.)

Vyanav: "Nahi dategi, ye wala phone toh tumne ek mahine se zyada chalaya hai, vahi badi baat hogi unke liye"
(She won’t scold you, you managed to use that phone for more than a month, that alone will impress her!)

Riyanaah gazed up at Vyanav with a pouty face and wide, pleading puppy eyes. Caught off guard, Vyanav’s eyes widened in surprise.

Vyanav: "Ye vo phone nahi hai??"
(Wait, this isn’t the old phone, is it?)

Riyanaah gently shook her head, signaling a clear “no.”

Vyanav: "Kab liya ye??"
(When did you get this one?)

Riyanaah: "Bade papa ne kal hi dilaya"
(Big Papa bought it for me just yesterday.)

Vyanav’s eyes widened as he looked at Riyanaah, but she quickly lowered her head, avoiding his gaze.

Vyanav: "Yaar hadd karti ho tum, ek din me hi Tod diya"
(Wow, unbelievable. You broke it in just one day?!)

Riyanaah: "Sorry na ab aap toh mat daato mujhe, janamdata toh vaise hi dategi"
(Sorryyy, please don’t scold me, Mom will already yell at me.)

Vyanav: "Obviously yaar tum kitna tod fod karti ho, ye college padhne jati ho ya maar pit karne??"
(Obviously, the way you keep breaking things! Do you even go to college to study, or to start fights?)

Riyanaah: "Vyanavvvvvv dato nahi, solution batao kaise batau mumma ko??"
(Vyanavvvvv, don’t scold me! Tell me a solution, how should I tell Mumma?)

Riyanaah scolded him, her tone light but serious. Vyanav barely managed to suppress a laugh, knowing full well she wasn’t intimidating him in the slightest.

Vyanav: "Umm chodo tum ye sab, chalo new phone lekar aate hai varna daant toh padegi hi"
(Umm, forget all that, let’s go buy a new phone, or you’ll definitely get scolded.)

Riyanaah: "nahi main apne paison se nahi lungi phone, papa ne bola hai vo mere paise hai"
(No, I won’t buy it with my own money, Papa said that money is mine!)

Vyanav: "Waah ladki jaise baat karne lagi tum"
(Wow, now you’re talking like a proper girl!)

Riyanaah: "Bas aapke samne"
(Only in front of you.)

Riyanaah murmured something under her breath, but Vyanav caught every word clearly. Smiling warmly, he cleared his throat softly and gently took her hands in his, grounding the moment between them.

Vyanav: "main dila deta hu kanjus ladki, chalo ab"
(I’ll buy it for you, stingy girl, come on.)

Riyanaah: "Sachchi??"
(Really??)

Vyanav: "Haaa"
(Yeah.)

Riyanaah: "Achcha toh bike pe chaliyega, please"
(Okay then, let’s go on your bike, pleaaaase?)

Vyanav: "Okay chalo"
(Okay, let’s go.)

Then, hand in hand, they left the house together, determined to buy her a new phone, just in time to avoid Riyanshi’s inevitable scolding over her carelessness.

Vihaansh stepped into the grand RKAM Mansion, impeccably dressed in his formal attire, except for the blazer he’d thoughtfully left in the car. He moved with an easy confidence, casually rotating his phone between his fingers while the other hand slipped nonchalantly into his pants pocket.

In the spacious living room, Ruhanika, Akshavi, Savisha, Riyanshi, Avyukta, and Kritika were all absorbed in their respective tasks, each immersed in the quiet hum of productivity.

Ruhanika’s eyes caught sight of Vihaansh as he entered, and a playful glint sparked within them, mischief clearly brewing beneath her composed exterior. She smiled to herself, already plotting how she might engage him in some light-hearted banter or tease.

Ruhanika: "Bhabhi sa, dekhiye Anshu aaya hai chaliye ise gaana ga ke tang karte hai."
(Sister-in-law, look, Anshu is here! Come on, let’s tease him by singing.)

Savisha: "Haa mazaa aayega"
(Yes, that will be fun!)

They all exchanged knowing smirks among themselves as they prepared to set off. Just then, Vihaansh arrived, joining the group with a calm confidence.

Vihaansh: "Aunty vo Avika..."
(Aunty, um, about Avika…)

Ruhanika and all Ladies:
"Damaadji Angana Hai Padhare
Damaadji Sab Tuk Tuk Nihare
Damaadji Laage Sabko Pyaare"

Vihaansh’s eyes widened for a brief moment, caught completely off guard. His face flushed a deep shade of red, and he quickly turned away, trying to hide the blush that threatened to betray him. Ruhanika and the other ladies exchanged knowing smirks, clearly amused by his unexpected reaction.

Taking a steadying breath, Vihaansh composed himself. He cleared his throat deliberately, projecting a tone of calmness to draw their attention. The room fell silent as all eyes shifted towards him, the playful energy still continued.

Ruhanika: "Areh Damad ji.. ahhh humara matlab Anshu beta, aap yaha ??"
(Oh dear son-in-law, uh, I mean Anshu beta, you’re here?)

Vihaansh lowered his gaze, feeling a warm blush spread across his cheeks, ears, and neck. He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, a shy smile tugging at the corners of his lips, betraying his nervousness.

Vihaansh: "Ji Ruhi Aunty vo... Vo Avika ko lene aaya tha"
(Yes, Ruhi Aunty, I came to pick up Avika.)

Vihaansh avoided making eye contact with Ruhanika, his shy nature clearly showing. The ladies nearby couldn’t help but chuckle softly, amused by his bashful demeanor.

Ruhanika: "AAAAAPKI Avika room me hai, der tak jagi thi kaam se, ab toh uth gayi hogi office ke liye taiyaar ho rahi hogi"
(Your Avika is in her room, she stayed up working late, but she must be awake now, getting ready for the office.)

Vihaansh: "Kya Betu der se soyi, nahi phir rehne dijiye Aunty use keh dijiye ki aur so jaye, kachchi nind se uthi hogi toh uska sar dard karega"
(What, Sweetheart slept late? Then no, please let her rest, Aunty — if she woke up with light sleep, she might get a headache.)

Ruhanika smiled warmly at Vihaansh, appreciating the genuine care he showed for Rudravika. The other ladies nearby echoed her sentiment with gentle smiles, their eyes softening with approval. It was then that Vihaansh realized what he had said had been heard clearly, but despite any awkwardness, it came straight from his heart, fueled by sincere concern.

Vihaansh: "Nahi m..mera matlab ki vo aise... matlab"
(No, I mean… like… I mean…)

They all chuckled warmly, amused by the poor shy guy’s reaction.

Akshavi: "ja Jake khud dekh le kaisi hai phir sath le jaana"
(Just go and see for yourself how she is, then take her along.)

Vihaansh: "main jau?? Main kaise kamre me matlab..."
(I should go? How can I, um, go into her room…)

Ruhanika: "Haa jao Anshu beta usme kya hai, subah subah aapko dekh ke khush ho jayegi"
(Oh go on, Anshu beta, what’s the big deal? She’ll be happy to see you first thing in the morning.)

Vihaansh: "J...jii"
(Y–yes.)

Vihaansh nodded nervously, swallowing his hesitation as he made his way slowly upstairs toward Rudravika’s room. Standing just outside the door, he paused, feeling the weight of crossing into her personal space. Taking a deep breath to steady himself, he finally raised his hand and knocked gently.

Vihaansh: "Avika, ready ho gayi kya main lene aaya tha tumhe, Varna tum phir mujhse rusht ho jati"
(Avika, are you ready? I came to pick you up, otherwise you’d be upset with me again.)

Vihaansh smiled quietly at his own words, hoping for a response. When the door didn’t open, he knocked once more, a bit more firmly this time. To his surprise, the door creaked open slightly, pushed inward just enough to reveal that it wasn’t locked.

Vihaansh: "Ummm Avikaaa??"

Still, Vihaansh hadn’t received any reply from Avika, and even the thought of peeking into her room felt like committing a crime to him. He hesitated at her doorway, torn between worry and respect for her privacy.

Vihaansh: "Shayad so Rahi hogi, jaane deta hu, araam kar le thoda."
(Maybe she’s sleeping. Let her rest for a while.)

Vihaansh let out a small, relieved smile and turned to leave, thinking it best not to intrude further. But as he pivoted, he froze in place. Standing there, arms folded firmly across his broad chest, was Rudraksh, watching him with an unreadable expression.

The smile instantly faded from Vihaansh’s face, replaced by a nervous gulp. Instinctively, he straightened his posture like a soldier on parade, his back stiff, under the weight of Rudraksh’s intense glare.

Vihaansh: "Go.. Good morning Uncle"

Rudraksh: "Yaha kya kar rahe ho??"
(What are you doing here?)

Vihaansh: "Vo... Vo Avika..."
(I came... Avika)

Rudraksh: "Haan???"

Vihaansh: "I mean Rudravika ko lene aaya tha"
(I mean, I came to pick up Rudravika.)

Rudraksh: "Kyu??"
(Why?)

Vihaansh: "Office ke liye"
(For the office.)

Rudraksh: "Niche wait Kiya Karo, samjhe??"
(Wait downstairs, understood?)

Vihaansh: "Ji Uncle bas ja raha tha"
(Yes, Uncle, I was just leaving.)

Rudraksh: "Toh jao na ruke kyu ho??"
(Then go! Why are you standing here?)

Vihaansh: "Ji uncle"
(Yes, Uncle.)

Vihaansh began answering each of Rudraksh’s questions in a hurried, precise tone, as if he had memorized every word by heart. His voice wavered just slightly, betraying his nervousness, and he gulped again to steady himself.

He continued to stand ramrod straight, shoulders tense, head lowered, doing his best to avoid Rudraksh’s piercing, watchful glare. The silence between them grew heavier with every passing second, making Vihaansh’s heart pound all the more.

Rudraksh: "Jaooo"
(Go!)

Vihaansh, flustered and unable to maintain his composure any longer, immediately turned on his heel and practically fled from the room. To the world, he was the formidable and undefeated lawyer, renowned for his razor-sharp mind, ironclad confidence, and a talent for resolving conflicts before they even reached the courtroom. But in front of Rudraksh, he was reduced to a nervous, hesitant boy, unable to hide the tiny flicker of intimidation that surfaced every single time.

Rudraksh, catching the entire scene, turned slowly and offered Vihaansh a calm, knowing smile, one that held both amusement and a silent, fatherly pride.

Rudraksh: "Aise kaise apni Tiny Ruhh tumhe dedunga beta, bahaut papad belne padegi meri beti jaan hai meri"
(As if I’ll just hand over my Tiny Ruhh to you so easily, son. You’ll have to work hard, my daughter is my life.)

Rudraksh, still glaring at Vihaansh, turned slightly toward Rudravika’s room, only to freeze. There, standing in the doorway with her arms folded firmly across her chest, was Rudravika. Her steady gaze was fixed right on him, filled with a silent challenge.

For a moment, Rudraksh’s confidence faltered. He gulped, a hint of unease flickering across his face as he met his daughter’s unblinking stare. The tables had turned, and now it was Rudraksh who found himself shifting nervously under her watchful eyes.

Rudraksh: "Good morning my Tiny Ruhh"

Rudraksh pulled Rudravika into a gentle side hug, and though she hugged him back, she still shot him a sharp glare, making it clear she wasn’t letting him off the hook just yet.

Rudraksh: "Hun kii??"
(Now what?)

Rudravika: Ansh nu kyu daraya tusi?? Kyu pareshan karde ho tusi papa, ohnu?"
(Papa, why did you scare Ansh? Why do you trouble him, Papa?)

Rudraksh: "Main?? Main ki kita puttar??"
(Me?? What did I do, child?)

Rudravika: "Papaaaa"

Rudraksh chuckled softly and reached out to adjust Rudravika’s messy hair, noticing she had just woken up. His gentle touch carried a hint of affection, making her soften despite her earlier glare.

Rudraksh: "Mazaak karta hu beta, tu tension na le sab changa si"
(I was just joking, dear, don’t take tension. Everything is fine.)

Rudravika: "Pehle humse promise kijiye, aap inhe nahi darayenge Varna hum aapse thode se naraz ho jayenge"
(First promise me you won’t scare him again, otherwise I’ll be a little upset with you.)

Rudraksh chuckled and playfully tugged at Rudravika’s cheeks.

Rudraksh: "Achcha baba theek hai, ja ab ready hona main nashta banata hu tere liye."
(Okay, fine, alright. Now go get ready, I’ll make breakfast for you.)

Rudravika: "Papa hum kuch meetha khayenge, pancakes banaiye.. nahi ek kaam kariye inhe hi keh dijiyega ye achcha pancakes banate hai humare liye bana bhi denge"
(Papa, I want something sweet, make me pancakes. Actually, better yet, tell him to make them, he makes good ones for me.)

Rudraksh: "Vikuuuu"

Rudravika couldn’t hold back a playful chuckle, clearly enjoying teasing her father. Rudraksh let out a resigned sigh, shaking his head at his daughter’s mischievous antics, though a fond smile softened his face. Stepping closer, he pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, his eyes warm with affection.

Rudravika grinned and turned away, heading inside to get ready for the day. Meanwhile, Rudraksh, still smiling to himself, made his way toward the kitchen, determined to prepare a hearty breakfast for his wife and daughter.

Downstairs, Vihaansh and Ruhaansh sat together on the couch, deep in conversation. Rudraksh paused for a moment, glancing at them with a warm smile, before heading off toward the kitchen.

Ruhaansh: "So jija jiii, kaisa Raha aapka aur papa ka encounter"
(So, dear brother-in-law, how was your encounter with Papa?)

Vihaansh: "Rudra Uncle lagta hai kisi din mera encounter hi kar denge, yaar rooh kaap jati hai meri aise dekhte hai"
(Rudra Uncle looks like he’ll do an encounter with me someday, bro. My soul literally shivers the way he stares.)

Ruhaansh burst into laughter, teasing Vihaansh with a wide grin.

Ruhaansh: "Ha Anshu bhai, sochiye aap kisi din Viku ko ghar drop kar rahe hai aur papa gusse me hai, phir unhone aap dono dekh liya, har taraf andhera, viku ghar ke andar jaise hi gayi, papa aaye aur aapko goli se uda diye.. kya nazara hoga na bhai"
(Haha, Anshu bhai, imagine one day you drop Viku home and Papa is angry. It’s dark all around, as soon as Viku goes inside, Papa comes out and shoots you, what a sight that would be, bro!)

Vihaansh shot Ruhaansh a sharp glare, while Ruhaansh struggled to hold back his laughter.

Vihaansh: "Nazara main dikhata hu tujhe aaj ruk."
(Let me show you a sight today, just wait.)

Vihaansh grabbed a soft cushion from the couch and playfully started tapping Ruhaansh with it. Ruhaansh burst into laughter, dodging and weaving, trying to shield himself from the gentle onslaught. Their carefree laughter filled the room, creating an atmosphere of warmth and easy camaraderie.

After a while, their playful exchange mellowed into casual conversation. Suddenly, Vihaansh’s attention was caught by the delicate, rhythmic tinkling of anklets echoing from upstairs. His head snapped up, eyes locking onto the staircase as Rudravika made her way down.

Today, she had chosen to wear traditional Indian attire, a flowing lavender suit that complemented her radiant skin perfectly. Her long hair cascaded freely over her shoulders, soft and shimmering in the ambient light. She was carefully managing her organza dupatta, which fluttered lightly with each graceful step, momentarily slipping as she descended.

Vihaansh’s breath hitched at the sight. Time seemed to slow, the world around him fading into a soft blur as all his focus centered on her. To him, Rudravika looked absolutely breathtaking, an ethereal vision that stole the air from the room.

Ruhaansh watched the scene with a knowing smirk, his eyes flicking between the two of them. Deciding not to spoil the quiet magic of the moment, he chuckled softly and slipped away toward the kitchen, eager to interrupt his parents instead and leave the moment undisturbed.

Rudravika’s eyes met Vihaansh’s, and in them, she saw a quiet, unwavering love that made her heart flutter. A delicate blush spread across her cheeks, and a shy smile curved her lips. She lowered her gaze and continued descending the stairs, trying to steady her steps. Yet, Vihaansh’s soft, intent gaze on her made it impossible for her to focus fully.

Suddenly, she stumbled, her foot catching on the edge of a step. In an instant, Vihaansh reacted with lightning speed. He rushed forward and caught her just before she could fall forward. His hand came up, steadying her gently as she slipped into his grasp.

Rudravika’s breath hitched as she realized she was leaning against him, her body supported by his firm hand resting lightly on her stomach. She closed her eyes, a warm flush blooming within her at the unexpected contact. His other hand found her shoulder, steadying her, helping her regain her balance.

She stood upright again, heart pounding, completely unaware of the whirlwind of emotions swirling inside her, nervousness, excitement, and a tender warmth, all ignited by the simple touch of his hand.

Vihaansh: "Avika?? Betu theek ho tum?? Dhyaan kaha hai kaise chalti ho??"
(Avika? Betu, are you okay? Where’s your attention, how are you even walking?)

Rudravika’s eyes were cast downward as she nervously fidgeted with her dupatta, trying to hide the shy smile that threatened to break free.

Rudravika: "Hum theek hai Ansh, pareshan mat hoiye aap"
(I’m fine, Ansh, don’t worry about me.)

Vihaansh: "Haa tum ye sab laparwahi karti raho aur main pareshan bhi na hou, ye achcha hai"
(Right, you keep being careless, and I shouldn’t even worry? That’s great.)

Rudravika: "Achcha baba hum maafi mangte hai, dhyaan rakhenge ab hum"
(Okay, fine, I apologize, I’ll take care now.)

Vihaansh: "Good"

Vihaansh noticed Rudravika struggling with her dupatta and, thinking she might trip because of it, gently reached out and held it for her with a caring touch.

Vihaansh: "May I??"

Rudravika simply nodded, avoiding Vihaansh’s gaze. She knew those soft, tender eyes were reserved only for her, and honestly, that kind of affection was almost overwhelming to handle. Vihaansh didn’t remove her dupatta completely; instead, he carefully adjusted it, draping it securely over her shoulders. She looked up at him and smiled softly. He chuckled warmly and reached out to poke her dimples, his playful touch making her grin even wider.

Vihaansh: "Car me safety pin hai, pin kardenge ise okay??"
(There’s a safety pin in the car, I’ll pin this for you, okay?)

Rudravika simply nodded again, her eyes meeting his as she tilted her head slightly, a subtle, curious gesture that spoke volumes without words.

Rudravika: "Hum kaise lag rahe hai aaj??"
(How do I look today?)

Vihaansh: "Aaj??? Aap toh humesha hi bahaut pyaari lagti hai betu, haa but ye dress zarur aur sundar ho gayi hai kyuki meri Avika ne ise pehna hai na"
(Today?? You always look very pretty, Betu. But yes, this dress has become even prettier because my Avika is wearing it.)

Rudravika’s cheeks flushed a delicate shade of pink as she playfully slapped Vihaansh’s chest, a mix of bashfulness and teasing sparkling in her eyes.

Rudravika: "Dhatt, kuch bhi kehte hai aap"
(Oh stop, you say anything!)

Vihaansh: "Aapko hi toh kehte hai"
(I only say it to you.)

Rudravika’s cheeks deepened into a rosy pink as she lowered her eyes, caught off guard by the intimacy of the moment. Vihaansh chuckled softly, his laughter warm and gentle, filled with affection. When he looked back at her, his eyes sparkled with immense love and tenderness, a gaze so soft it seemed to wrap around her like a comforting embrace.

Sensing his gaze upon her, Rudravika felt a familiar flutter in her chest, her blush deepening. Yet, she was Rudravika Malhotra, strong, poised, and never one to be easily flustered or left vulnerable. Steeling herself, she lifted her eyes to meet his, a confident smile curving her lips. Though her heart flipped wildly inside her, she maintained her composure, letting a quiet strength shine through the warmth of her smile.

Rudravika: "Anshh Suniye"
(Anshhh, listen.)

Vihaansh: "Sunaiye Betu"
(Tell me, Sweetheart)

Rudravika: "Vo aap yahi rukenge, hum nimbu mirchi le aaye??"
(Could you please wait here, while I go get some lemon and chili?)

Vihaansh blinked, clearly puzzled by her sudden gesture. He bent down to her level, meeting her gaze with gentle curiosity, silently asking what was on her mind.

Vihaansh: "Kyu Avika?"
(Why, Avika?)

Rudravika: "Vo aap itne manmohak lag rahe hai, kisi chudail ki nazar aap pe par gayi toh kya hoga?? Isiliye hum bas aapke ati sundar chehre ki nazar utarna chahte hai, ab itne pyare hai aap, uper se ye jheel jaisi aakhein aur laal seb jaise gaal, in sabke liye itna toh karna hoga na?? Phir aap is..."
(Because you look so mesmerizing today, what if some witch casts the evil eye on you? So I want to ward off the evil eye from your lovely face. You are so handsome, with those lake-like eyes and apple-red cheeks, I have to do this, right? Otherwise someone might…)

Vihaansh’s face flushed a deep shade of pink as he nervously avoided her gaze. Gently, he placed his hand over Rudravika’s mouth, a shy yet tender gesture that conveyed more than words ever could.

Vihaansh: "Bas karo yaar tum... Tum shuru hoti ho toh rukti nahi"
(Stop, please! Once you start, you don’t stop.)

Rudravika softly grasped Vihaansh’s hand, gently pulling it away from her mouth and lowering it with a tender smile, easing the shy tension between them.

Rudravika: "Humne kya kiya Anshhhhh???"
(What did I do, Anshhhh??)

Vihaansh: "Betuuuuuu"
(Sweetheart)

Rudravika and Vihaansh locked eyes, the world around them fading away as they got completely lost in each other’s gaze. The quiet affection between them spoke volumes, no words were needed to express the depth of their love.

Just then, Ruhaansh walked in and caught sight of the intimate moment. Shaking his head with a dramatic facepalm, he muttered under his breath, amused and slightly exasperated by their undeniable connection.

Ruhaansh: "Vaha papa ka romance kharab hua toh bhaga diya mujhe, yaha kuch bolunga toh Anshu bhai bhaga bhaga ke marenge.... Idea jab tak nashta banta h Ruvi ke room me jaake Dostana dekhta hu heee phir office jaunga."
(Over there, I ruined Papa's romance and he chased me away, and if I say anything here, Anshu bhai will run after me to beat me up. Idea, while breakfast is getting ready, let me go watch Dostana in Ruvi’s room, then head to the office.)

Ruhaansh hurried down the corridor and burst into Ruvyansh’s room without bothering to knock. The soft glow of the early morning light filtered through the curtains, casting gentle shadows across the space. Inside, Ruvyansh was still fast asleep, sprawled comfortably across his bed.

Aryash lay upside down at the foot of the bed, clutching Ruvyansh’s leg like a child seeking comfort, his breathing slow and even. Nearby, Vansh, Vrishank, and Vedarth were all curled up on bean bags, their faces peaceful in sleep. The six of them had stayed up late the previous night, engrossed in a movie marathon that had stretched into the early hours.

Ruhaansh, however, had quietly slipped away around midnight, leaving the others to finish the night in their cozy, sleepy cluster.

Ruhaansh glanced at the sleeping boys and smirked to himself. He knew Vrishank and Vedarth were such heavy sleepers that no ruckus could wake them, but Vansh was a different story altogether, always light on his feet, and easily roused from slumber. A mischievous plan began to form in Ruhaansh’s mind.

Suppressing a giggle, he pulled out his phone and quietly snapped a few pictures of the boys, capturing their peaceful, unguarded faces. The soft glow of the morning light highlighted their relaxed expressions, making the scene all the more amusing.

Then, with a grin, Ruhaansh tiptoed over to Vansh’s bean bag and gently shook him awake. Vansh’s eyes fluttered open, confusion quickly replaced by a knowing sparkle as he caught sight of Ruhaansh’s mischievous grin. It was clear that Vansh was about to become an unwilling accomplice in whatever playful scheme Ruhaansh was brewing.

Ruhaansh: "Vansh, Vansh uth na"
(Vansh, Vansh, get up!)

Vansh stirred slightly, rubbing his sleepy eyes as he slowly woke up.

Vansh: "Kya hai bhai?"
(What is it, bro?)

Ruhaansh: "Uth aur help kar meri"
(Get up and help me.)

Vansh sat up straight and stretched his arms wide, shaking off the last traces of sleep.

Vansh: "Kya help??"
(Help with what??)

Ruhaansh smirked mischievously as he shared his plan with Vansh. Fully awake now, Vansh returned the smirk, clearly intrigued.

Vansh: "Kya plan hai bhai, mazaa aayega ye chaaron chaar mahine humse darr ke rahenge"
(What’s the plan, bro? It will be so much fun, these four will stay scared of us for four months.)

Ruhaansh: "Haa na mast pareshan karenge chal"
(Yeah, let’s totally mess with them, come on!)

Vansh nodded eagerly, catching onto Ruhaansh’s mischievous plan without hesitation. With careful precision, Ruhaansh reached down and gently grabbed Vrishank’s legs, while Vansh took hold of his hands. Together, they lifted the still-sleeping Vrishank and carried him over to the bed, laying him down softly.

Next, they turned their attention to Vedarth, repeating the process with the same careful coordination. Once both boys were settled on the bed, Ruhaansh and Vansh began arranging their positions with comic exactness. Vedarth’s face was positioned just inches from Aryash’s, their noses almost touching. Meanwhile, Vrishank’s face lay directly opposite Ruvyansh’s, close enough for them to share an unintentional nose-to-nose moment.

Their arms were adjusted so that the four boys appeared to be wrapped in a tangled, affectionate group hug, an endearing yet hilarious sight. Adding to the comedy, Ruvyansh and Vrishank were clad in loose vests that showcased their flexed muscles, while Aryash and Vedarth sported sleeveless night shirts that still revealed their toned arms. The contrast between their peaceful sleep and the absurdity of their posed embrace was priceless.

Ruhaansh and Vansh, barely able to contain their laughter, snapped numerous pictures from every angle, capturing the entire spectacle. Satisfied with their handiwork, they exchanged triumphant smirks before suddenly shouting out in unison, shattering the quiet morning with their gleeful noise.

Vansh, Ruhaansh: "Aaaaaaaaa"

Aryash, Ruvyansh, and Vedarth stirred awake and, the moment their eyes met, they burst out shouting loudly, their voices filling the room with excitement.

Aryash, Ruvyansh, Vedarth: "Aaaahhhhhhhhhhh"

The three of them shouted almost simultaneously, jumping up in startled unison. In the chaos, poor Vrishank, deeply asleep and completely unaware, rolled over and tumbled right off the bed, landing with a soft thud on the floor.

Still lost in his dreams, he didn’t stir an inch, completely oblivious to the commotion around him.

Vansh and Ruhaansh exchanged incredulous glances, their eyes wide with disbelief as they took in the sight of Vrishank snoozing peacefully on the floor amidst the morning chaos.

Ruhaansh: "Isko main insaano me toh count nahi karunga"
(I won’t even count him among humans.)

Vansh: "Vyomika Chachi bhi isko kumbhkaran ki aulaad bolti hai"
(Even Aunt calls him Kumbhkaran’s child.)

Ruhaansh: "Viraj Uncle ki itni beizzati huyi, main kaha tha tab??"
(Where was I when Viraj Uncle was insulted so badly?)

Vansh: "Rudra uncle aur Ruhi aunty ka romance kharab kar rahe rahoge aur kya??"
(Probably busy ruining Rudra Uncle and Ruhi Aunty’s romance, what else?)

Vedarth, Ruvyansh and Aryash looked at Vansh and Ruhaansh and understood that they did all this and glared at them.

Aryash: "Ye kya bakwas hai kaise so raha tha tu??"
(What nonsense, how were you even sleeping like that??)

Ruvyansh: "Aur ye nalayak ab tak aise so Raha hai, bekaar ladka"
(And this useless one is still sleeping like this, worthless guy.)

Vedarth: "Aryash bhai aap toh meri izzat lootne wale the aaj"
(Aryash bro, you were about to ruin my respect today.)

Vansh: "Haa lagta hai aaj main aur Ruhaansh bhai chacha ban jaate"
(Yeah, looks like today Ruhaansh bhai and I would’ve become uncles!)

Vedarth, Ruvyansh, and Aryash turned their sharp gazes toward Vansh and Ruhaansh, quickly realizing the two were behind the commotion. Without hesitation, they shot them all a fierce glare, making their disapproval unmistakably clear.

Ruvyansh: "Bhai yaar kya hai ye sab'
(Bro, what is all this??)

Ruhaansh: "Vo chod ye dekh, ye tum logo ka scandal leak ho gaya toh kya hoga??"
(Forget that, look here, what if your scandal with the younger brothers leaks, huh?)

Ruhaansh held up their pictures for everyone to see, and as the others glanced at them, their faces twisted into expressions of betrayal and disbelief.

Aryash: "Apne chote bhaiyon ke sath ye sab karte sharam nahi aayi aap dono ko??"
(You have no shame, messing around with your little brothers like this??)

Vansh: "Achcha kal game me cheating karke hume haraya, humara pizza khate waqt tum logo ko sharam nahi aayi??"
(Oh, and you had no shame cheating us in the game yesterday, or eating our pizza, huh?)

Vedarth: "Bhai please na delete Karo na please"
(Bro, please, delete it, pleaaaase.)

Ruhaansh: "ye nahi hoga, par pehle is kumbhkaran ko uthao"
(Nope, but first get this Kumbhkaran up.)

The five of them quickly grabbed a jug of water and poured it over Vrishank, jolting him awake with a sudden shock.

Vrishank: "Mumma, ghar me baarish, chhata lao chhataaa paapa"
(Mummaaa, it’s raining inside the house, bring an umbrella, bring an umbrella, Paaapaaa!)

Vrishank glanced around nervously, trying to make sense of what had just happened, while the five boys stared at him in disbelief, their expressions a mix of surprise and amusement.

Vedarth: "chodo bhai log ye paidaishi pagal hai iske sath prank karke bhi matlab nahi hai, chalo chalte hai"
(Forget it, brothers, this one is a born idiot, there’s no point even pranking him, let’s go.)

The five boys walked away, leaving Vrishank standing alone, utterly confused. He slowly rose, then sank back onto the bed, rubbing his face as he tried to shake off the lingering bewilderment.

Vrishank: "Ye log pagal hai kya bewajah koi uthata hai kya, chodo jab tak mumma nahi aati so jaata hu, hee"
(Are these guys mad? Who wakes someone up for no reason? I’ll just go back to sleep until Mumma comes. Heehee.)

Vrishank settled back onto the bed, pulling the covers up around him, and soon drifted off to sleep once more.

Inside the Singhania family’s private jet, Vaidaksh sat engrossed in a patient’s case file, his reading glasses perched neatly on the bridge of his nose. The soft hum of the paper's filled the cabin as he flipped through the pages with focused intensity.

Beside him, Krithvik slumped in his seat, sulking quietly. His arms were crossed, and his eyes stared out the window, clearly annoyed but too stubborn to say a word.

Vaidaksh: "Kya hua Krithu?? Itni si baat pe itna kya muh bana ke baitha hai??"
(What happened, Krithu? Why are you sulking over such a small thing?)

Krithvik: "Itni si baat??? Bhai aapko pata hai, mumma papa bhi flight me mile the, aaj main bhi flight se jaata, toh kya pata meri pari bhi meri zindagi me aa jati, aapne meri duniya tabah ki hai bhai, main iske liye aapko kabhi maaf nahi karunga."
(Such a small thing??? Bro, do you even realize, Mom and Dad met on a flight, right? Today if I had taken the flight too, who knows, maybe my angel would have come into my life as well! You’ve ruined my entire world, bro. I will never forgive you for this.)

Vaidaksh shot a sharp glare at Krithvik, who quickly averted his eyes, avoiding the silent reprimand.

Krithvik: "Glaring at me won’t change anything, bhau, I’m deeply hurt."

Vaidaksh: "Ek kaam kar tu muh bana ke hi baith, muh kholne se toh behtar hai varna yahi pe Angioplasty kar dunga sara pyaar dhara ka dhara reh jayega"
(Here’s an idea: just keep sitting there with your mouth shut, because if you open it, I’ll do an angioplasty right here, and all your love dreams will go down the drain.)

Krithvik shot a sharp glare at Vaidaksh, clearly offended by his dismissive smirk. But Vaidaksh merely returned the look with a confident grin and went back to his case file, completely unfazed. Frustrated, Krithvik rolled his eyes upward and pressed his hands together in a pleading prayer-like gesture, silently hoping for some mercy, or maybe just a break from Vaidaksh’s teasing.

Krithvik: "Rab ji, main is vele tuhade bahut hi kol haan, is karke meri gall tuhanu hor vi jaldi sunayi devegi, toh aap please mujhse pehle Vaidaksh bhai ki setting laga do, please rab ji please, tab jaake ye khud bhi ghar jaldi jayenge aur main bhi apni pari dundh paunga, please."
(Dear God, I am very close to you at this moment, so you might hear my prayer even faster, please, before me, find a match for my brother Vaidaksh, please God, please! That way he’ll rush home himself, and then I’ll get a chance to find my angel too. Please.)

Krithvik continued his quiet conversation with God, murmuring softly under his breath with a look of pure sincerity on his face. Watching him, Vaidaksh could only shake his head with a fond smile, a trace of amusement in his eyes.

Refocusing, Vaidaksh returned his attention to the mountain of work before him. There were countless details to coordinate, equipment lists, transport arrangements, staff briefings, and inventory checks, all vital to ensure the medical camp ran smoothly. This wasn’t just any camp; it was one fully organized by VS Hospitals under his leadership.

Every six months, they carefully selected a village most in need of medical attention, reaching out to those with little to no access to basic healthcare. These camps were a lifeline for many, providing check-ups, medicines, surgeries, and above all, hope.

Vaidaksh’s determination shone through as he reviewed the final checklist, knowing that every ounce of effort was worth it to serve those who needed it the most.

On the other side, Siyanshi sat on a traditional khaat, the woven charpoy creaking gently beneath her as a faint breeze rustled through the village. Dressed in a simple Patiala suit, she looked every bit a part of her new surroundings, though her mind was far away, lost in a tangle of thoughts and worries. Her gaze was unfocused, fixed somewhere in the distance, as if searching for answers that refused to come.

A girl wearing another colorful Patiala suit approached quietly and settled down beside her, the charpoy shifting slightly with the added weight. She reached out and placed a comforting hand on Siyanshi’s shoulder, grounding her back to the moment. Siyanshi blinked, breaking free from her trance, and turned to her friend with a soft, grateful smile.

Siyanshi: "Areh Gauri tu kab aayi?"
(Hey Gauri, when did you get here?)

Gauri: "Jab tu bekaar ki baatein soch rahi thi"
(When you were busy overthinking nonsense.)

Siyanshi’s smile faded instantly, and she lowered her head, a shadow of sadness passing over her expression.

Gauri: "Kyu soch rahi hai itna, chod aayi hai na sab kuch??"
(Why are you thinking so much? You left it all behind, right?)

Siyanshi: "Isiliye toh soch rahi hu, itne din ho gaye hai kab tak yaha aise rahungi, Meera meri online dost hai aur uski baat maan ke main yaha uske gaav, tere Ghar aayi hu... Papa ko pata chal gaya toh kya hoga??"
(That’s exactly why I’m thinking, it’s been so many days, how long can I stay here like this? Meera is my online friend, and on her advice I came to her village, your house, but what if Papa finds out?)

Gauri: "Kuch nahi hoga, kuch waqt me sab bhool jayenge tab jaha chahe chali jaana"
(Nothing will happen. With time, everyone will forget, then you can go wherever you want.)

Siyanshi: "Yaha kab tak rahungi yaar tere mummy papa bhi sochte honge kaisi ladki hai ghumne aayi hu bol ke 10 din se yahi hai, uper se agar pata chala ki bhaag ke aayi hu tab toh khatam"
(But how long will I stay here? Your mom and dad must be wondering what kind of girl comes to visit and stays for ten days straight, And if your parents find out that I ran away and came here, then it's all over.)

Gauri: "Maa baba aisa kuch nahi sochte balki pasand karte hai tujhe... Aur chinta mat kar tu is gaav ke sarpanch ke ghar me hai tu koi kuch nahi kar payega"
(Mom and Dad don’t think like that in fact, they like you. And don’t worry, you’re staying in the house of this village’s headman, no one can do anything to you.)

Siyanshi: "Tu samajh nahi rahi hai yaar, tu papa ko nahi janti vo dundh hi lenge, mujhe jaldi se jaldi yaha se nikalna hoga aur kisi sheher jaake job leni hogi meri sab savings khatam hone se pehle"
(You don’t understand, yaar. You don’t know my dad, he’ll find me no matter what. I need to get out of here quickly and find a job in some city before I run out of all my savings.)

Gauri smiled gently and pulled Siyanshi into a comforting side hug, trying to reassure her with her warmth and support.

Gauri: "Tu kar legi pakka, chal ab aise muh bana ke mat baith.. pata hai Aaj shaam me yaha koi dactor Babu aane wale hai, kuch din yahi rahenge suna hai bade Ghar se hai shayad tu unse madad leke"
(You’ll manage for sure. Now don’t sit around sulking like this. You know, a doctor babu is coming to stay here for a few days this evening, I heard he’s from a rich family. Maybe you could even get some help from him.)

Siyanshi: "Mujhe kisi ki madad nahi chahiye especially kisi bade Ghar ki bigadi huyi aulaad se, I'm capable of handling myself, main dekh lungi apna"
(I don’t need anyone’s help, especially not from some spoiled child of a rich family. I’m capable of handling myself. I’ll figure it out.)

Gauri: "Achcha meri maa kar lena sab khud, par chal shaam ko ramleela me toh aayegi na, main vaha aaj bhajan gaane wali hu"
(Okay, fine, do everything yourself, madam. But at least come to the Ramleela this evening, right? I’ll be singing bhajans there today.)

Siyanshi: "Areh zarur aaungi, mere Ram ji ki Ramleela kaise miss karungi main, bahaut mazaa aayega"
(Of course I’ll come! How can I miss my Ramji’s Ramleela? It will be so much fun.)

Gauri: "Chal phir kapde tay karte hai"
(Then come on, let’s get our clothes ready.)

Siyanshi smiled warmly and nodded in agreement. Together, they stepped inside the house, their voices already blending in excited chatter as they began discussing their outfits for the evening’s Ramleela event. Their laughter and playful suggestions filled the hallway, carrying a sense of joyful anticipation for the celebrations ahead.

Here's the next chapter update!
I’m currently caught up with some important commitments, which is why there will be only one chapter per week for now, and unfortunately, no fixed schedule. I’ll try to regain consistency soon. The next update will be on next Saturday.🌷

Also, a humble request, please don’t complain about all couples not being featured in every chapter. It’s genuinely tough to do justice to everyone in a single update.

Precap: Vaidaksh and Siyanshi's first meeting 💫
