It was the auspicious evening of Mahashivratri.
Earlier in the day, the family had celebrated the festival with devotion and togetherness, but as the hours passed, exhaustion began to settle in, especially for the expecting mothers. Since the girls were nine months pregnant and unable to move around much, Ruhaansh, Ruthvika, Krithvik, and Kridha had decided to step out briefly to convey their greetings to one of Rudrakshโs close friends, who was hosting a gathering that evening. It was meant to be a short visit, nothing more.
The venue was lively yet serene, illuminated by warm lights and surrounded by a beautifully maintained lawn. As the evening progressed, Ruthvika and Kridha found themselves mingling with a group of women, sharing light conversations and laughter, while Ruhaansh and Krithvik were occupied on the other side, greeting relatives and exchanging pleasantries. Time slipped by unnoticed, and before they realized it, dusk had deepened into night.
